Following its successful debut last year, Riverside Sessions is returning to Eutopia Warehouses for another round, bringing the distinct 51st State sound back to one of London’s most unique venues.

Since its inception in 2015, the 51st State Festival has established its reputation through a clear musical identity. It is rooted in genres like house, garage, soul, and disco, while focusing on both the artists who shape the culture and those who push it forward. This balance has defined the festival over the past decade and is central to the Riverside Sessions.

The concept is straightforward: take the essence of 51st State and present it in a more intimate urban setting. Enjoy a full day centred around the dance floor, defined by the sounds for which 51st State is known.

Eutopia Warehouses plays a crucial role in this experience. Located along the river in Barking, the venue features a large open-air courtyard and multiple indoor spaces, creating a seamless flow from early afternoon into the evening. It is independently operated, purpose-built for music, and is quickly becoming an essential part of East London’s music scene.

This year’s event expands on the inaugural edition, featuring four stages, over 60 artists, and a full day of entertainment from 2 PM to 10 PM. The lineup will showcase both established names and emerging artists, reflecting the broader sound of 51st State.
